Advocating for equality and equity across the globe with music

What do we do?

Musicians for Equality is a student-led non-profit that advocates for equality and equity across the globe. We strive to bring justice to unheard voices, educate ourselves and each other, and spread awareness through music.

We do this by hosting regular fundraising recitals and live streams, which feature young musicians from around the world to highlight underrepresented performers and composers, fundraise for current social justice efforts, and to provide a space to bridge our diverse communities together through music.

Musicians for Equality was started during the COVID-19 pandemic, at time when a dramatic increase in number of communities facing very high barriers prevented them from being able to learn, grow, and support each other with music.

Ever since then, we have served as an advocate for communities who lack access to equal and equitable standards. We believe that through the collective passion for music, we can help to change lives
